Emanuel Luxury Venue hosted PURIM PAIRINGS, the Jewish Museum of Florida – FIU’s annual Purim celebration. The highlight of the evening was the 4-course kosher dinner, each course prepared by one of four South Florida celebrity chefs who demonstrated the preparation live on stage. The dinner was paired with carefully selected kosher wines. TV and radio personality, Linda Gassenheimer, discussed the pairings on stage with Sunset Corners wine merchant, Mike Bittel.

Linda Gassenheimer produces and hosts the weekly "Food News & Views" on WLRN and she is author of the Miami Herald column, "Dinner in Minutes." Linda is the author of three American Diabetes association cookbooks and her next cookbook is in the works.

The Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU is located in a former synagogue that housed Miami Beach's first Jewish congregation. The restored Art Deco building dating back to 1936 and the original synagogue from 1929 are both listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Museum is a major cultural attraction and source of information for both locals and tourists from around the world.
